Use the Jabodebek LRT for comfortable mobility during the 2025/2026 Christmas holidays

KAI invites the public to use the Jabodebek LRT during the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 holidays with the support of integrated services and complete facilities to provide comfortable, orderly and environmentally friendly travel.

During the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 holidays, KAI invites the public to use the Jabodebek LRT as a comfortable and efficient mobility option. In line with the tagline Smart Transportation, Unlimited Mobility, the Jabodebek LRT presents rail-based services that are integrated and supported by technology to provide certainty in travel times and enable people to move without being affected by road traffic congestion.

Jabodebek LRT Public Relations Manager, Radhitya Mardika Putra, said that the Jabodebek LRT was designed to provide a comfortable travel experience for users. With various supporting facilities, it is hoped that it will provide convenience and comfort to enjoy traveling on the Jabodebek LRT.

“Jabodebek LRT can be a travel option that provides a sense of comfort, both in terms of smooth travel and also the supporting facilities available at the station and in the train set,” said Radhitya.

One of the facilities needed now that the rainy season is entering, KAI is providing umbrella drying facilities at every Jabodebek LRT station. Users who bring wet umbrellas can take advantage of this facility and can store their umbrellas comfortably while maintaining the cleanliness of the service area. In addition, in the trainset series there are priority seats available for the elderly, pregnant women, people with disabilities, and users with children as part of efforts to provide friendly and inclusive services.

Other facilities provided by the Jabodebek LRT are charger stations for charging electronic devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops), there are also water stations and most recently vending machines for topping up KMT (Multi Trip Card) balances at a number of stations. KAI urges all users to work together to maintain the available facilities so that the Jabodebek LRT travel atmosphere can remain comfortable, calm and respectful, including by not eating, drinking or smoking conventionally or electronically in the station area and on the train.

“KAI urges all Jabodebek LRT users to use each facility according to its function. User concern plays a very important role in maintaining optimal service quality and keeping travel comfortable,” he said.

KAI invites the public to use public transportation, especially the Jabodebek LRT, as a weekend travel option and also for the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 holidays. Apart from being practical and integrated, the use of public transportation also contributes to reducing congestion and supporting more environmentally friendly mobility.
