KAI Division IV Tanjung Karang Confirms 2025–2026 Nataru Transport Readiness

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Regional Division IV Tanjung Karang ensures full readiness to face the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) transportation period. Various preparatory steps have been carried out carefully since early November to ensure the safety, security and comfort of customers’ travel.

Head of PT KAI Divre IV Tanjung Karang, Mohamad Ramdany, said that the inspection of facilities and infrastructure was carried out comprehensively and continuously in collaboration with the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) Class II Palembang Railway Engineering Center (BTP).

“We have started preparations for Nataru transportation since the beginning of November. On November 5 and 20, we carried out ramp checks with DJKA. Apart from that, since November 1, we have also carried out simultaneous inspections of all railway facilities and infrastructure in the Tanjung Karang Division IV area,” said Ramdany.

He explained that the inspection included the condition of the locomotive, train set, signaling system, rail lines and other supporting facilities. Every inspection finding has been immediately followed up in accordance with applicable safety standards.

“We have completed all records of inspection results, and any deficiencies found have been corrected. Currently, all facilities and infrastructure are declared to be in operational condition,” he explained.

Ramdany emphasized that KAI Divre IV Tanjung Karang is committed to providing the best service to the community during the Christmas and New Year holidays, while still prioritizing safety aspects as the main priority.

“We ensure that all facilities and infrastructure are ready to serve Christmas and New Year transportation, so that people can travel safely, comfortably and smoothly,” he stressed.

PT KAI Divre IV Tanjung Karang also appealed to the public to plan their trips well and comply with all applicable regulations for smooth and shared safety during the Nataru transportation period.
