PT Kereta Api Logistik (KAI Logistik), a subsidiary of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), continues to show its commitment in presenting digital -based logistics services through the KAI Logistik Trax application. Entering the second semester, the range of the July to August 2025 period, courier digital transactions through the KAI Logistik Trax application recorded a positive performance with a total volume reaching 20,311 kg, consisting of various commodities ranging from packages to motorbikes.
The Director of Business Development of KAI Logistik, Riyanta revealed “The company is committed to strengthening the role of the KAI Logistik Trax application in supporting national logistics ecosystems, in line with the company’s mission in presenting integrated logistics services that support community needs, economic growth to MSMEs. Through this digital service innovation, KAI Logistics continues to reinforce its position as a logistical service provider that is increasingly trusted and always adapted to the development of technology and community needs”.
The positive growth is reflected in the increase in volume performance significantly compared to the average monthly achievement of semester I 2025 of 4,762 kg. During July and August, the volume of shipping grew more than 200%, with the highest achievement in August which recorded a volume of 10,390 kg.
This significant increase confirms the increasing public confidence in the digital transformation carried out by KAI Logistik. The KAI Logistik Trax application is now present as an efficient, reliable, and in harmony with the growing market needs. In the future, the Company is committed to strengthening digital capabilities through the development of innovative features to provide sustainable added value for the community and the business world.
Riyanta added that an increase in transaction volume through the KAI Logistik Trax application was also in line with the growth of active users of applications which increased significantly in the second semester of 2025. In the last two months, the number of active users increased by 4,782, where an increase in July increased 74% compared to the average semester 1 of 1,332. While active users in August recorded the highest number of 2,459 or an increase of 85% compared to the average monthly semester 1 of 2025.
As part of digital transformation, the KAI Logistik Trax application presents logistics services that are fast, safe, and easily accessible to the public. The previous limited service in Java has now developed to more than 270 service points in Java, Bali and Sumatra. Service expansion also includes various types of commodities, ranging from documents, packages, bicycles, to motorcycles. With a carrying capacity of up to 300 kg and the support of pickup and dooring services, the KAI Logistik Trax application makes it easier for customers in the process of shipping goods.
In addition, this application is equipped with tariff checking features, digital payments, searching for service points, to tracking delivery in real time, thus presenting transparency, convenience, and modern logistics service experience.
