Pipeline inspections in the oil and gas sector require a monitoring system capable of detecting potential gas leaks with precision without increasing the risk to field personnel.
Manual methods often face challenges in reaching long pipelines, remote areas, and environments with exposure to dangerous gases such as CH4, H2S, and other volatile compounds.
Soarability’s Sniffer4D Nano 2+ Multi-Gas comes as a drone-based sensor system designed to support accurate and measurable airborne inspection of gases and particulates. This device has five internal slots that can be configured with sensor modules according to operational needs. Integration with DJI Enterprise drones such as the Matrice 4 Series, Matrice 400, and DJI Dock 3 supports efficient inspections, including automatic operations and regular monitoring.
Multi-Gas and Particulate Sensor
Sniffer4D Nano 2+ supports various sensor modules based on electrochemistry, PID, and light scattering. Module options include PM 1.0, PM 2.5, PM 10, as well as TSP or PM 100 for particulate monitoring. For gas, O3, NO2, O3 + NO2, CO, H2S, NH3, SO2, HCHO, TVOC, and Odor modules are available in OU units. Each module has a different measurement range and sensitivity to suit the needs of industrial applications.
The measurement data is displayed in real-time via DJI Pilot and DJI FlightHub 2, then visualized using AIRINS.ai in the form of two-dimensional, three-dimensional maps, as well as interpolated gas concentration distribution. Once the mission is completed, the system automatically generates a report in PDF or CSV format for further documentation and analysis needs.
