This initiative highlights the role of Wahana Visi Indonesia in dealing with the impact of disasters and community recovery, as well as the Sayap Ibu Foundation which for almost seven decades has cared for abandoned babies and children with special needs. Through direct visits, dialogue and ongoing support, FLOQ Peduli departs from the belief that company growth must be in line with social responsibility and real contributions to society.

In various regions of Indonesia, millions of children still live in vulnerable conditions due to poverty, natural disasters and limited access to basic needs. This impact is most felt in disaster-affected areas and remote areas, where the need for clean water, nutrition, education and long-term protection has not been met evenly.

Answering Real Needs in the Field

In areas such as North Sumatra which were affected by flooding, Wahana Visi Indonesia has deployed a disaster response team since the end of last November. Wahana Visi Indonesia plays an important role in assisting children and families by providing access to clean water, nutritional support for children (including babies and toddlers), as well as psychosocial assistance for children, especially in Sibolga City and Central Tapanuli Regency. This support is an important foundation in responding to emergency needs as well as accompanying the long-term recovery process so that people can recover and become empowered.

Meanwhile, the Mother’s Wing Foundation, which was founded in 1955, has been caring for abandoned babies and children with special needs for almost seven decades. Services provided include daily medical care, emotional support, education, and providing a safe and dignified environment for children who require long-term care.

These two organizations reflect the importance of experience, consistency and community trust in creating sustainable social impact.
