The Playbook: Conglomerate Business Strategies That Are Not Taught in Formal Schools

  1. Mimics human voices and faces with a high degree of similarity, paving the way for deepfake-based fraud.
  2. Produces phishing messages that are very natural, making them difficult to distinguish from genuine communications.
  3. Automate hundreds of attack scenarios at once, making manual defense efforts increasingly irrelevant.
  4. Bypasses traditional security systems like OTP, face verification, voice check, and even some biometric systems.
  5. Targeting the government, finance, technology, education, and health sectors, showing a significant increase in attack attempts throughout 2025.

Alexey emphasized that this era demands a new approach using AI to fight AI, building security systems that are able to learn adaptively, and increasing human resource capacity to be ready to face the latest generation of attacks.

Responding to the complexity of the latest cyber threats, Positive Technologies made another official visit to Gadjah Mada University (UGM) to discuss the follow-up to the MoU and strengthen strategic cooperation in international cyber security.
