This strategic step emphasizes Siloam Hospitals Kebon Jeruk’s position as a national referral center for various robotic and minimally invasive surgical procedures in the fields of urology, gynecology, digestive, orthopedics and others.
The inauguration of Siloam Hospitals Kebon Jeruk as a Center for Robotic and Minimally Invasive Surgery marks a new chapter in the world of modern surgical services in the country. This achievement is also an important milestone in Siloam Hospitals Kebon Jeruk’s 34 year journey serving the Indonesian people with the best medical standards, based on innovation, the latest technology, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.
For more than three decades, Siloam Hospitals Kebon Jeruk has made various improvements in surgical services, starting from the era of open surgery (laparotomy), progressing to laparoscopy which involves minimal incisions, until now entering the era of robotic surgery which offers higher precision, faster recovery and lower risk of complications.

Through the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number HK.01.07/MENKES/927/2025, Mrs. Caroline Riady, CEO of Siloam International Hospitals was appointed as a member of the National Committee for Robotic Technology in the Health Sector in the management department.
