Maintain punctual travel times, KAI Divre III Palembang Urges Passengers to Come Early to Kertapati Station

Palembang, 10 January 2026 — PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Regional Division III Palembang appeals to all train customers, especially those who will depart from Kertapati Station, to come early to the station on Sunday, 11 January 2026. This appeal is conveyed in connection with the implementation of the Grand Haul of Asy-Syeikh KH Mgs Abdul Hamid (Kiai Muara Ogan) bin Asy-Syeikh KH Mgs Mahmud 125th which is centered in the Kiai Muara Ogan Mosque area, Kertapati, starting at 09.00 WIB until finished.

KAI Divre III Palembang Public Relations Manager, Aida Suryanti, said that this religious activity is expected to increase the mobility of the community around Kertapati Station and the surrounding area close to the event location.

“To avoid the risk of delays and ensure that travel remains safe and comfortable, we urge prospective passengers on the Rajabasa Express Train and Bukit Serelo Train to organize their travel time well and arrive early at the station, especially on the day of the Grand Haul,” said Aida Suryanti.

Aida added that early arrival is very important so that customers have sufficient time for the check-in process, checking tickets and organizing luggage, so they don’t rush before the train departure schedule.

KAI Divre III Palembang also ensures that all officers at Kertapati Station remain alert to provide the best service to customers, as well as coordinating with related parties to maintain the smooth operation of train travel during the activity.
