Welcoming 2026, Serving Wholeheartedly, IPCC Facilitates Humanitarian Ships for Sumatra

Starting 2026, PT Indonesia Vehicle Terminal Tbk (IDX: IPCC) demonstrated its humanitarian commitment by facilitating the delivery of disaster aid to Sumatra via the Jakarta Branch Domestic Terminal. The aid resulting from the collaboration of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) and Jusuf Kalla was sent by sea to Aceh and North Sumatra. The aid release event was also attended by H. Jusuf Kalla (Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2014–2019 period), Budi Gunadi Sadikin (Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia), Kathryn Clarkson (Head of Delegation of the International Federation of Red Cross), Main Director of the IPCC Sugeng Mulyadi, and other stakeholders.

In this activity, the IPCC acts as the main facilitator for the delivery of humanitarian aid which includes mini excavators, basic necessities, cleaning supplies, adult and baby clothes, kitchen equipment, generators, stationery, boots, as well as work equipment such as carts and hoes. The total weight of aid sent reached 2,586 tonnes with a value of aid disbursed of around IDR 65 billion. The entire series of activities is carried out by implementing port security and safety standards to ensure the shipping process runs safely and smoothly.

H. Jusuf Kalla expressed his appreciation to all PMI parties and volunteers involved in distributing aid, while the Indonesian Minister of Health emphasized the importance of collaboration between all elements of society in responding to disasters quickly and on target. In line with this, IPCC, which is a subsidiary of PT Pelindo Multi Terminal (SPMT), as part of the Pelindo Group emphasizes its commitment to continue supporting humanitarian activities through optimizing port services, so that aid can be distributed well, quickly, and provide real benefits to communities affected by disasters in Sumatra.
