More Than 280 Thousand Passenger Movements, Daop 7 Madiun Becomes a Nataru Mobility Magnet

Entering the end of 2025 and the momentum of turning towards the New Year 2026, the mobility of people using train services in the PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Operation Area 7 Madiun area remains high.

Based on data on Wednesday (31/12), KAI Daop 7 Madiun served a total of 18,896 customers, consisting of 9,086 departing customers and 9,810 arriving customers at various stations in the Daop 7 Madiun area.

Cumulatively, during the 14 days of the 2025/2026 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) Transport period, KAI Daop 7 Madiun has served 133,664 departing customers and 146,497 arriving customers, reflecting the public’s high trust in the rail transportation mode as the main choice for medium and long distance travel.

KAI Daop 7 Madiun Public Relations Manager, Tohari, said that the high volume of customers does not need to be a worry for people who are still planning to travel after New Year’s Eve. Until the end of the Nataru Transport period on January 4 2026, the availability of train seats crossing the Daop 7 Madiun area is still sufficient.

“We ensure that train seats to various favorite destination cities are still available until January 4 2026. People can immediately make orders via the Access by KAI application or other official sales channels,” said Tohari.
